Nottingham is the famous home to Sherwood Forest where the very man Robin Wood himself once lived. There are many things to do within the forest, this is a place that you should really try to visit if you can as there is something for everyone.
Nottingham Castle and Caves are a great way to see how the people of Medieval Nottingham lived in the 17th Century and a visit here can be enjoyed by all, a great trip if you have kids.
Nottinghamshire also has many other days out including trampoline parks, breakout rooms as well as The Adrenaline Jungle which has a long list of things to do such as archery, assault courses. Zorbing and segwaying just to name a few!
If you are looking for something more cultural try visiting Newstead Abbey to wander through the 12th-century building and its grounds and learn about poet Lord Byron and even try on some of his favourite clothes. A great photo opportunity!
