About Bewilderwood
Delve into the depths of BeWILDerwood, one of the best family days out in Norfolk, and meet Mildred the Crocklebog, Swampy, Vera the Hippopotamuddle and friends for oodles of fun.
BeWILDerwood is an award-winning forest-based adventure for young intrepid explorers, where things to do include storytelling, den building, crafts, face painting and even an enchanted boat ride to the really exciting bit - high ropes, swing bridges, treehouses and a host of other fun.
The forest's rides and characters are based on books by BeWILDerwood owner Tom Blofeld, and kids can step right into his wondrous make-believe land by tackling ‘The Broken Bridge', ‘The Slippery Slopes' and ‘The Wobbly Wires'.
For little ones, Toddlewood on the Hill provides great indoor fun, while they will also love the Twiggle Whizzers and Tiptoe Valley.
As far as days out go, BeWILDerwood is a fantastic balance for the whole family, providing something for crafty kids, active and adventurous youngsters and those simply looking for something a bit different.
Helpful Information
Parking on-site is free and BeWILDerwood.
No, but BeWILDerwood is accessible to pushchairs and buggies, even on boat rides!
Many areas of the park are wheelchair accessible, however, the upper woodland area which houses the play structures is unlikely to be suitable due to the steep slopes.
Guests are invited to bring their own picnics, although there are plenty of delicious food options at the park too.
Reviews
Brilliant day out, I would recommend to any family.
We enjoyed our day out in the forest, got lucky with the weather and there were lots of things to do. You cab spend a full day walking around, we took a picnic too which was nice.
