About Blackpool Tower
Standing at an impressive 158 metres tall, Blackpool Tower dominates the local skyline and is a fantastic destination for family days out.
Once the tallest made-made structure in the UK when it was constructed in 1894, the tower now contains six different attractions, meaning there are plenty of things to do for every age and interest.
Families can enjoy all the fun of the circus, with adventurous and wacky acts from across the globe making this an unmissable show. This can also be enjoyed alongside High Jinx, a magical display full of illusion and mystery.
The world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom, featured on BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, allows you to put on your dancing shoes and follow in the footsteps of global superstars - or simply enjoy an afternoon tea while you watch others dance the night away.
Two great experiences for kids, the Blackpool Tower Eye and Dino Mini Golf, also form part of the Tower's attractions, with the Eye providing stunning views across the region and the Irish Sea. Will you be brave enough to try the SkyWalk? There's even a cocktail bar for the grown-ups! We recommend SkyWalk before cocktails!
Those looking for a gruesome, gory experience but full of laughter and learning will also love the Blackpool Tower Dungeon.
The Tower's newest attraction, the Fifth Floor, includes a host of activities including a family bar, circus-themed arcade and an incredible 8K Virtual Reality Rollercoaster.
Parking is available adjacent to Blackpool Tower in the Houndshill Centre and visitors pay upon return.
There are no baby-changing facilities onsite at The Blackpool Tower.
Wheelchair access is available throughout.
Bar 380 offers a tranquil setting to enjoy a relaxing drink, and there's also afternoon tea in the world famous ballroom!
Great views from the top, recommended.
The glass floor is amazing, nice clear views across Blackpool.
