The town of Enfield - and the north London borough that bears its name - has plenty to offer those looking for family days out.
Jump In Trampoline Park not only has an array of activities for youngsters - from a slam dunk basketball court and foam pit to the twist ladder and Gladiators-style battle beam.
If climbing is more your thing, then head over to Go Ape in Cockfosters - the highest course in the south east. Take on the rope ladders and zip wires and navigate easier or harder routes among the treetops. There's also a Go Ape closer to central London at Alexandra Palace.
Not far from Go Ape, near Oakwood tube station, is Jungle Falls Adventure Golf. Grab your putter and challenge the adults over 18 holes complete with tropical animal sounds.
The borough also has plenty of green space. Trent Park has 413 acres of parkland, perfect for casual ambling, bringing bikes or perhaps spotting the occasional deer, rabbit or even pheasant.
Capel Manor Gardens boasts a Georgian house and 60 gardens, including the Japanese Garden and Fairy Forest. There's also a zoo, which the little ones will enjoy.
