Kingston Upon Thames is in a great location when it comes to things to do with your days out. There's a whole host of activities attractions and things to see right on its doorstep covering a variety of interests, and with central London just a short train journey away, the capital is your oyster!
First up, based on the magical fantasy book, Hobbledown is a farm park adventure brimming with animals and themed characters from the book. Great for kids with a huge imagination. You'll find otters, play areas, secret tunnels, mazes and climbing towers, plus much more to keep the kids entertained.
In a similar vein, Bushy Park a short drive away offers a great children's play area with activities for ages 2 - 10 with the likes of sandpits, swings, balance beams and sea saws. There's also a huge number of deer roaming freely and some lovely walks for the family.
Hampton Court Palace is also just down the road and well worth a visit to check out the beautiful architecture of the Royal building and get lost in the infamous maze in the grounds. Once you and the family have worked up an appetite there's a great restaurant in the shape of the Hungry Caterpillar Restaurant.
That's not all that's on offer in and around Kingston Upon Thames, you've also got Tenpin Kingston, White Spider Climbing to test you're agility, Hampton Pool for sunny days and Wendy's Workshop for painting and creating your own ceramics.
