About Bristol Zoo Gardens
From red panda, ring-tailed lemurs and gorillas to otters, penguins and iguanas, Bristol Zoo Gardens has a large assortment of animals - plus a lot more to fascinate younger visitors.
Make sure to visit the ever-popular Meerkat Lookout, Bug World, Monkey Jungle, Reptile House, Gibbon Island and Gorilla Island, Seal and Penguin Coasts and Butterfly Forest. Meanwhile, in the indoor Twilight World exhibit, you are plunged into night time, where you can glimpse the zoo's more nocturnal creatures.
The Animal Experiences available include Lion Feeding, Keeper for the Day and Meet & Greet with penguins, lemurs, meerkats, fruit bats or giant tortoise.
But it's not all about the zoo's residents. You and your own little monkeys can have fun at ZooRopia, an adventure ropes course with 17 sections to test swinging, climbing and balancing skills, such as Red Panda Clamber and Lizard Ledge.
Located in the Clifton area of the city, not far from Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Zoo Gardens also boasts beautiful gardens with rare species from around the world.
