Sunday 7th AprilThe South East’s biggest, longest-running and best-loved bus show is back and will be a fabulous day out for families and transport enthusiasts alike. The show is expected to attract up to 200 visiting buses and coaches, old and new, from London and all over the UK. There will be heritage bus trips, a huge selection of stalls and collectors market and, subject to operational conditions, visitors will be able to experience a ride on a horse bus. As well as seeing the incredible collections of cars, motorcycles and aircraft from the golden age of racing and flying, families visiting during the holiday will be able to experience thrilling car rides, ‘fly’ with the Red Arrows and Concorde, complete our Easter Trail or take part in a fascinating workshop. Kids Tours on Concorde Every weekday during the Holidays at 10:55 and 13:25. During School Holidays, we run dedicated Kids Tours on Concorde at set times during the day. The tour is tailored for our younger audience, with fun and noise encouraged! Pre-booking of the Kids Tours on Concorde is highly recommended. Car Rides Our popular car rides will be operating from 11am-1pm and from 2-4pm (subject to weather). For a requested donation of £1, Take a trip in a vintage-style car up Test Hill or along the Members’ Banking of the old Race Track, courtesy of the Brooklands Volunteer Car Rides Team. Bus Rides School holidays and weekends Look out for the Bus Stop outside the London Bus Museum and hop on board a London double decker bus for a short trip around the leafy roads surrounding the Museum before being dropped back again. Saturday 4th MayOne of the biggest events of the year at Brooklands celebrating the UK’s obsession with all things Italian. This will be Auto Italia’s 34th Spring gathering - the UK’s first and finest all-Italian car event. Expect the site to be bursting with all types of Italian cars (and motorbikes). Test Hill demonstration will be taking place, in addition to action on the Mercedes-Benz World circuit. In previous years there have been over 200 Ferraris alone! Saturday 18th MayJoin us at Brooklands Museum as we turn back the clock to celebrate the Music, Fashion, Style and Dancing of the 40s, 50s & 60s. This is a chance to put your hair up, grab your best period outfit and lace up the dance shoes Stock up on vintage gear at our extensive vintage trade village, featuring some of the best vintage sellers around, providing everything from original and reproduction clothing, shoes, accessories, books, homewares and original memorabilia. The Brooklands airstrip will be open for Vintage Aircraft Fly-ins, get a spectacular view of them landing before heading on to the stripe to meet the pilots*. If all this activity gets a bit much head into the Dance Marquee behind the Motoring Sheds, where you will be able to refresh yourself with some food and drink, listen to live music, take part in a FREE dance lesson. The Brooklands Style Scouts will be on the lookout for the best-dressed and the grand final will be in the Dance Marquee where the audience will be invited to cheer for the who they think should win. All the usual Museum exhibits will be open but on this day, the site will be filled with periods vehicle displays, buses and re-enactment groups. The Brooklands Double Twelve Motorsport Festival Commences: Saturday, June 15, 2019, and ends Sunday, Jun 16, 2019 - KT13 0QN

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th JuneOrganised in association with the Vintage Sports-Car Club, the event celebrates Brooklands' rich motoring history and is always held on the weekend closest to the Anniversary of the original opening of the Brooklands race track in 1907. The two-day extravaganza features Speed Trials, Driving Tests and the prestigious Double Twelve Concours. As well as the main competitions, the Test Hill Challenge will also take place on both days. This will involve everything from bicycles and motorcycles to giant pre-war racing cars and running races for energetic children up the punishing 352ft (107m) concrete slope. Some vehicles may even head down the Hill in a test of their brakes. With family entertainment once again planned throughout the site and lots more attractions to be announced, this is a weekend for everyone! Normal Museum admission charges applies. Visitor parking will be in The Heights off Wellington Way - please follow event signage.

Over by the Shell Pagoda youngsters under 5 will be able to ride pedal-driven model aeroplanes and the Museum’s Learning Team will be laying on everything needed in a fantastic aviation themed workshop for youngsters.
