Things To Do In Hull

Situated in north-east England, Hull was named the UK's City of Culture in 2017, so you can be sure you won't be short of great family days out here. Whether you're travelling with the kids, a group of friends, or it's just you and a loved one, there are plenty of options for things to do.

For the kids, take a trip to Gravity Trampoline Park, where they can burn off energy while having a great time bouncing and learning new tricks. Gravity also runs special parent and toddler sessions, as well as slots for those with Special Educational Needs, so you can find a time to suit you.

If you're looking for a more educational day out, head to The Deep, Hull's award-winning aquarium with more than 5,000 sea creatures to meet.

Hull also boasts museums well worth spending an afternoon at, including Streetlife - Hull Museum of Transport, where you can see a Hobby Horse from 1818, veteran motor cars from as far back as 1897 and even experience a York Mail Coach ride. Hull and East Riding Museum also makes for a great day out, as 235 million years of history are brought to life under one roof. Explore an Iron Age village and a Roman bathhouse, as well as loads more besides.

If the weather's nice, head to Humber Bridge Country Park where you can walk the trails, check out the local nature and even take part in a park run on a Saturday morning.
